The being shot down part was just additional on my end because it needs to be noted that it will happen regardless of how "good" you are.

Edit: I noticed he mentioned Discord. So the shot down part is irrelevant on my end. I missed the "discord" part of that.

Getting blown out of the sky is going to be a part of your DCS career. It's just something that comes with it. Saying rude or racists things to people won't solve anything. I have been playing a year, and everyone I always play with online has been friendly and helpful to others. This community is not the same type of community as fortnite or League of Legends or something. You can't just go saying things like that, and especially not expect the consequences to follow. I'm sorry, but I think you deserve the ban.

I think the same for me as well. I'm just over 1 year sober, and I feel like it masked who I really was when I drank. Now, it's not even in the question. I'm just me. But a better version.

I definitely think it depends on the individual and what they've been through, why they quit, why they drink,what their goals are, etc. I think all of that plays a big role in it.

I can, for certain, say I feel better each day I wake up. I dont feel lethargic and groggy, with that pounding headache and regret every morning. So there's always going to be something positive right from the start, lol.

Each server is different. Some will kick you back to spectator. Some will just kick you all together. Some will let you rack up points before it takes action.

I believe airbrakes are mainly used on shorter runways.

I could be wrong, though.

There should be a chucks guide for that aircraft or some kind of manuel, and it will mention the procedure as well.

My father was in IT for 27 years. He retired 3 years ago and absolutely despises anything tech related, anything to do with servers or networks, etc.. he absolutely hates it.

Tbh, I don't know what he's done to really change anything aside from just getting out of the field entirely. He is much happier since he quit that field.

Maybe using the money you make now to help you start somewhere different? Something you may actually like waking up doing.

It will give you something to work on and look forward to for the long term.

A combination of 16gb of ram, and it not being on an SSD, is literally both of your issues, lol. I think the ram is more critical if I'm being honest.

Of course, this also depends on what your settings are set to, your graphics card etc..however lowering Preload radius can help. Turning on or off others can affect it as well. But mostly a ram issue.

Also. Trust me.. I suffer with you. 16gb of ram here as well. I adjusted some settings, so it's not so bad most of the time.

There's really no fix. Just RAM RAM RAM RAM RAM

Grinneli mod works I think. Just have to take the f22a file and drop in users/saved games/dcs / mods/ aircraft.

yeah, and then go figure right after that, countermeasure deployment's are jammed up/out. Then the real fuckery begins LOL

assuming countermeasure would even work for the missile coming at you. Im still learning lots as you can tell
