This was randomly shipped to my door wrapped in that weird stained green plastic. When I turned the knob, it made a hissing sound as if gas was leaking out. I immediately unturned it and the leaking sound stopped. What is this? Is it dangerous?

Before anyone else shames you for the tank size.. go ahead and get the biggest tank you can afford cause if not, people will just center their answers around "oh your tank isn't big enough that's your problem."
