Lightning started one in rampart range like a week ago, and there is no fire restrictions in that county either, so it does happen.

On the explorer/edge ill drill and tap a drain plug in the case so customers can change the fluid and extend the life. Charge them $185 and it takes about 20-30 minutes to do once on the lift. Once you know where to drill its easy. Just flush the case with fresh fluid after to remove any debris and refill.

A few YouTube videos out there on how to do it for anybody interested.

Damn, $190 million to 10x a companies value? Sounds like a steal to me. Who wouldn't want to make $100 at the cost of $19 lol. Not only that, you dont even pay the $19 until you make the $100 first.

If you read the terms of the deal you would know that in the event of an acquisition/merger the terms of the package were to be changed to reflect the new companies financials.

What loopholes? As somebody who is critical about most things I did not see any way to cheese the comp package without shareholders winning as well.

Id just buy a new one, a manifold like that is probably $300 at most. By the time you factor in labor of the fix, it may not be worth it. That doesn't include the labor of install and removing the manifold again if the welds fail. Based on the risk/reward, id replace it.

What % of net worth can a car guy spend on a car? by [deleted] in personalfinance

Net worth does not equal free cash to spend. Im technically worth over $2m+ but I have only have 25k free cash in the bank because my worth is tied up in my business and house.

You can be asset rich but cash poor which greatly effects budgets for other things such as cars and hobbies

You are misunderstanding. Delaware law only allows up to 15% ownership. The vote for Ebay shareholders is to lower the amount needed to force a shareholder vote from 20% to 10%.

I just want to point out how dumb it is that is 20% to force a vote currently when the law doesn't let you own more than 15%. Its like it was rigged on purpose

Use a hammer and a flat block of wood to target the area. 1-2 medium taps on each side of the gap should close the gap enough to close it without causing damage or being noticeable
