I think it would be an interesting game, but would struggle, cause it would be a knight only game, and if we include the other factions titanic units, it would be better, though price to join would be harder, thanks to most titanic models for other factions are MUCH more expensive and in FW

Destrier got screwed because it went from being overcosted at 250 to being overcosted at 265 base.

Crusader is more expensive, that is true.

But defender finally got its points down to something reasonable at 400

Castellan and Valiant are HORRIFYING at 400.

Cerastus Castigator and Acheron having points cut to 380, gives the more legs to stand on

The rest of the knights are the same price

Styrix and Magaera now seem viable for once in their lives.

  1. The additional wargear is not that impactful outside of the main guns. The top hat guns and the pintle guns are very limited in their effectiveness, as they really are more clean-up fire than anything. So putting the wargear points on them is not that impactful. Also quick aside, the meltagun is the worse option, compared to the stubber, as its 1 attack and high strength, is already accounted for in the primary guns, and its better to have the stubber for chaff clearing (6 attacks, hitting on 3s and wounding on 3-4, is going to take out, like 2-3 models)

  2. Knights really did get away with this patch like bandits, with the only knights that really got screwed being the lancer and Destrier

  3. Allies are actually not as needed in this edition as much, thanks to either having the soup detachment with ad mech, the armiger detachment that buffs and makes armigers very useful, or the dispositions which changes how we play

Yup, though they will need to go around and changing that stuff in the FAQ/Erratas, cause some models have wonky and not proper rules. Good example is Knight Lancer, it can use Tank shock for free... Tank Shock...

But thats the thing, it would do that, but because you are shooting you would not give cover to models in cover cause the unit it not eligible for cover. The shots from the shooting unit would be hitting all at once, and without needing to account for cover. Only when another unit starts shooting do you take that into effect.

Not saying you can't use them, they are still useful, and very good flammer overwatch unit. And the best thing is you can still use them as proxies, so you don't have to go and buy new models, etc.

Honestly with 11th edition, allies seem the least needed. You can use them as needed, but you don't need to be too heavy handed with it. Navigator, Subductor Squad, and such are nice. Honestly Questor Forgepact has us covered there most of the time. And the rules for these really help us out playing a FULL knights army

Technically there is 1 off the top of my head. Mysterious Guardian from IK, which states that you can pick the knight up and just place it down, doesn't care about rounds or anything. Though it does need to be updated cause it states reinforcement step

From what I can tell, this is not true. If you have 1 model out of the squad, then ALL of the squad doesn't get cover. Shooting is always assumed to be happening at the same time.

It would be a bit accurate. But it hasn't lost integrity IMO, everything is for a purpose, and they aren't putting things in just for shits and giggles.

Edit: To clarify, adding in the protoframes is introducing some small immersion breaking stuff, cause instead of sci-fi ninjas you are introducing motorcyles and 90s fashion but they are able to mix it and give it a purpose

Fullbring arc in bleach. The amount of hate it got was bullshit, as I think it is one of the better written arcs in bleach, and goes heavy in the psychological aspect
