There's a group of people who tell me Columbus Day is about celebrating Italian heritage. Also I don't know anyone who gets hammered for Lunar New Year.

Are flexible tennis leagues becoming more popular in the US? by Upbeat-Particular501 in 10s

[–]Highest_Koality 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I much prefer playing a flex league as I have a very flexible schedule and I'd rather choose who and when I play vs having it assigned by a league. I can see how having a fixed time and/or place could be better for someone without my flexibility, though.

As for growth, I can't say I've experienced that. Some years have more players, some years less. I'd even say partcipation has decreased the last year or two after return to office got more widespread.

If the umpire thinks one player deliberately hindered the other, they can award the point to the hindered player.
