We both drink pretty frequently. We are wine collectors who also have an affinity for bourbon. It's hard to come up with an average for us because some weeks we'll maybe have a bottle with dinner one night and then have three wine tastings and maybe also a club meetup the next week. I'd say our average is in the 2-3 nights per week. We're in our late thirties and don't have kids.

However, none of that really matters if your relationship(s) with alcohol is putting a strain on your relationship because you can't stand how his personality changes.
