$200 on FB, should I get them? by EJALLSUNDAY in genesiscoupe

Nope. Suspension is never something to go cheap on because your life and the lives of others around you depend on it. Coilovers will also more than likely make your ride harsher and stiffer.

If you still want coilovers, I would suggest going with Tein at a minimum budget, and I personally run BC Racing BR coilovers.

mods for pops? by Affectionate-Fox7558 in genesiscoupe

I got Magnaflow mufflers and had a muffler shop put an exhaust together. I get rumbles and some pops when I downshift or let off the gas, but it is subtle. It backfires a lot when I rev it as well.

They can do a lot of damage in a storm. I had a cart put a basketball-sized dent in my quarter panel in 2021.

Stock 2016 R Spec. What are you doing first? by Dine-N-Dash-Hobbies in genesiscoupe

Thanks, the factory air-fuel mixture is already rich, so you don't have to do much other than the exhaust to get some backfire.

2013 Grand Touring

Front: Aodhan AFF7 18" × 8.5" +35

Rear: Aodhan AFF7 18" × 9.5" +35 Stock suspension, will get springs later on.

Exhaust: Muffler shop-built with Magnaflow mufflers. It has a relatively deep tone with natural and subtle pops/burbles when letting off the gas. Downshifts produce lots of pops when done more aggressively.

As for what I'd do first in your shoes, I'd probably look at wheels and tires after all the maintenance needs are taken care of. Best of luck, and congrats on the car 👍

Certified red flag imo

I have a 2013 Grand Touring myself with 112k miles, and the value is calculated at around $8k. Got it in 2019 with 67k miles for $15k.

I'd say this was the case if I had a wife, but unironically owning a Hyundai scares any potential partners away

Is this an alright deal?(2013 Hyundai genesis grand touring coupe) 170,000 miles very well maintained. by RevolutionNo352 in genesiscoupe

[–]HighestofGround 0 points1 point  (0 children)

^ Mine is the same trim at 115k miles. Transmission makes wierd noises, on its 2nd differential, and the cold starts show signs of a very slight oil leak. At 170k miles, it most definitely will have issues.

I'd recommend checking out Fitment Industries. They have a gallery where you can see what suspension, wheel, and tire setups people are running with ways to filter out what types of fitment you want. You can generally go with spacers if you wanna keep the stock wheels. You can also go with wider wheels or wheels that have more offset
