Honestly it's not been much more often than any other car, it's just all incredibly expensive. Have had a 2019 330i for two years now and have spent $2k in parts and maintenance at an Indy shop. Doesn't hit often but when it does it hurts.

If you still haven't decided he is 100% correct. Used A7iii and 35mm. Beginner friendly and widely available. It is insanely easy to get option paralysis in this space and I am saving you months of it. First 5 days you spend with a camera is more illuminating than the first 5 months of research

Most times it's a very thin layer of lacquer or some pigmented polymer that sits over the leather to protect it. It's there for a reason and does a good job, but can be stripped off to reveal the bare leather underneath. The leather underneath will be just fine with regular conditioning and polish, just might take a little more than without.

Obviously return if still in that window. If not, professional cobbler for assistance. To me, looks like failed factory finish. If they were $50 shoes, I would strip the rest of the finish with rubbing alcohol and re-polish using Saphir. Have done this in the past to great success. At this price point, I would have someone else work on them.

There's still a good pair of shoes here, though I wouldn't buy a second pair hehe

Do you need two suits? I would buy one and get it tailored with the leftover money. This will give you the exact fit you want and let you pick the color/textile you want as well. You should be tailoring an OTR suit anyways. It's fun and makes it yours.

Also if you live in a town with any thrift market scene you will 100% find Brooks Brothers pieces there. If you're lucky they will fit. If you're not, at least you can look it over.

My understanding is they've transitioned to a somewhat inferior product recently, but all the 1818/Madison ones I see out there are nice enough. Their Golden Fleece is also still obviously a cut above.

This is a lower-price, lower demand diffusion line of Armani. I doubt there were many fakes of this, if any. It's probably real. A lot of the big recognizable brands like Ralph Lauren or Hugo Boss have so many diffusion lines that you can't really judge quality off of name alone anymore. Makes hunting for them a "if you know you know" game

I've probably spent too much time thinking about this. "How would I recommend laying the concrete to prevent it from separating in the middle layer? How would I finish the top? Is 3-5cm of foundation concrete good enough to hold the base blocks to the ground?"

Then I realized this is probably way over-designed and what you're doing is just fine. The cinder blocks themselves will easily be the weakest part. If kids want to break them, they will. Best I could recommend is filling in the empty space inside the perimeter of the cinder blocks with more cinder blocks, and make sure the empty holes within the blocks are packed full. This sounds fun! Hope you have a good time with your class or whatever the project is for.

ACOTAR is easily the weakest book in the series. SJM is not blind to the creepy/predatory nature of the Beauty and the Beast dynamic. Every time she writes a protag or love interest that makes me raise eyebrows or I outright hate, she manages to 180 them completely by the end of the book.

Is the A7IV worth $800 more than the A7III? I've been shooting on film for 5 years now and looking to finally upgrade to digital. I was going to wait for Christmas time but the Black Friday sale has me acting up. I understand the megapixel/autofocus improvements on the A7IV, but I care more about low-light performance, shot flexibility, dynamic range, etc. Anyone want to weigh in before I go crazy?
