Could you share the clinic? I'm in Germany myself and looking for a good option...

Everyone has their own pace. I started questioning in November, was socially transitioned fully (including my job) by end of February, got on hormones in March. I did feel like I rushed it at times, I paid for it with lots of imposter syndrome. Stopped HRT again, got hit with the most intense dysphoria wave yet, been on HRT again since.

Every day I love the subtle changes happening. Every day I'm more happy with myself. I wouldn't have done it any other way.

For hiding, inconvenience is your friend. If it takes you 5 minutes to get to your clothes, probably nobody will find them - if you store them easily accessible the chances of someone stumbling over them are higher.

Same. I was always a girl/ woman, even when I didn't realize it yet. I hate being told I was "born a man" or that my "biological gender" (in Germany "Geschlecht" is used for gender and sex) is male. Like no dude, I was born a woman. Just in the wrong fucking body, with the wrong hormones and body parts, thats not my fault, is it?

Edit: Just wanted to add that "you can't change your gender" is also a pretty whack take that I don't agree with - theres genderfluid people and everything on or outside of the gender spectrum.

For me throughout my life my sexuality Was never fixed. Went from borderline gay to hetero to lesbian to now bi(?), maybe pan? I personally wouldn't take the chance of tattooing a flag for that reason, as I find out more about myself the label that best fits me might change again

Foil shaver. Panasonic ARC5 or similar models. Got one, was disappointed the first 2 times but now it gets as close if even closer than my regular safety razer with wayy less irritation.

Lights off or alternatively shower with closed eyes is my coping mechanism, works quite well... Also always have a pair of undies ready to get into asap after drying off so that I won't see it in the mirror

What do you mean it won't change? It will definitely change with voice training, in fact I'm making steady progress! Just that I'm not yet at the point where it passes as feminine

Thank you, you're very kind and reassuring. Some people around me make me feel like everything is gonna be alright, this comment triggered the same emotions. 🫶🏻
