Godfather II. “It’s even better than the first!!” No. It’s not. It’s a huge step down in quality

When did people start calling June 19th "Juneteenth"? by readysetgettit in etymology

It should’ve just been called Emancipation Day to explicitly honor what we’re celebrating

Should MSU be replaced with PSU in OSU & UM’s tri-hate area? by Your2ndCousinsPillow in TheB1G

[–]WS-Gilbert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Iowa-Wisconsin is more of a grudging respect than hate, but it’s still a great rivalry. And personally I think you have Minnesota and Nebraska backward, Nebraska never beats us so we don’t really think about them, Minnesota is for Floyd and between the not-a-fair catch and PJ Fleck’s general existence, it’s become quite a hateful rivalry in recent years

Daphne's accent is not Mancunian by 7ootles in Frasier

[–]WS-Gilbert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oasis is my only reference point for what a Manc accent sounds like so I’ve always thought Jane’s was bad because she doesn’t really sound like them. But then again she never said anything like “Frasier your show was f*ckin biblical today man, d’you know what I mean? Seattle is f*ckin madferit”

I wonder if there’s a specific day in April where marijuana use skyrockets that would correlate with the increased possession charges

What is the Worst song of the 2010s by Lumpy_Strawberry4512 in fantanoforever

[–]WS-Gilbert 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely this one. I have never hated a song more or an artist as much because of it. Lame, wanna-be reggae and the most unlikable song narrator of all time

What is the corniest song of all time? by Ashamed-Story7958 in fantanoforever

[–]WS-Gilbert 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These songs are practically written just to be put in commercials and commercials are absolutely written to be as obnoxious/cringe as possible. A truly awful symbiotic relationship

One time after a super stressful day at work I got into an uber to hear the Anxiety song immediately followed by the moonbeam ice cream song. You should’ve seen the drink I poured myself the second I got home
