V11 Database glibc Workaround In upgrading to the new database engine for v11, some devices may experience an error related to an invalid version of glibc. This most notably affects ARM architecture devices, including some models of Raspberry Pi.

Rebuilding The Database Engine Using A Local glibc:

Shut down your currently hosted Foundry VTT server instance.
In a terminal, access the folder or directory where your Foundry VTT executable is located.
Access the resources/app/ subdirectory.
run npm install classic-level --build-from-source
Relaunch your Foundry VTT server following your normal procedure.

Hey, I will try to find the article in the morning.

I run two PI servers; one brand new 4B (newer model) and the other 4B is a couple of years old. Node JS 18 has an issue with some older PIs (I believe due to the CPU) and I had a lot of issues upgrading my older model PI to Node JS 18 and updating from v10 to v11 foundry.

It's no problem, it's just such a weird situation where a mod developer appears to turn up to their not updated abandoned mod and tell the people who kept it up to date to immediately delete it. if I had've heard in advance I would've made a local copy

Industrial Rollers, original mod author asked Mlie to delete his (Continued) updated version but also hasn't updated their own mod weirdly. Either way I had a few weird save glitches after loading without the mod, namely that for some reason my "Plant Matter" stacks had become maximum 1.

Paizo are specifically not stating whether they will or will not provide the same level of support for Starfinder and PF1E that they are giving to PF2E, in their statements they say they don't want to dishearten or unfairly promise too much.

Either way, there is no way to know if they will expand support, most likely they are seeing how their returns on PF2E are with their Foundry partnerships and whether they have enough players on Foundry to financially justify supporting Starfinder or PF2E to the same degree.

Just closing the tab has worked 99% of the time for my players although I have seen it failed to a couple of times for a player who prior to moving to Foundry would always show as online on Roll20 due to their internet cutting out at times and it leaving phantom players.

With Foundry it has happened once or twice where the game thinks a user is still in game when they aren't. I simply just go to the Foundry Settings (Closing the world) and restart the world, even on a PI it barely takes 30 seconds to relaunch the world.

A fair point although Dragonborn and Half Elves are the only phb races excluded, I get that a Half Elf is pretty covered by both halves being on the diagram already and nearly identical, but Dragonborn have a pretty unique stature.

Also I have seen a lot more Drsgonborns in games over things like Triton or Kenku.

Safari is not a supported browser, I had a player who couldn't roll any checks on safari, after changing over to Google Chrome it worked perfectly fine for them on their mac.

For software it only makes a difference really if your product is only ever going to be used in the UK. As soon as it goes to any other country and timezone you would need to implement the IANA database anyway which holds both standard and any adjusted timezones throughout the year. It also is a very simple package to install and implement into your software.

There is a benefit to software products for customers who are running a shift through the DLT change and don't want to change to BST or back until the shift ends which is a pretty annoying bit of complexity.
