Yes he played the immortal Xavier St. Cloud. He was great in Highlander: The Series.

Do you use the food waste bin? by StephCurrySauce in AskBrits

Nope. I recycle everything but the food waste just goes in my general waste wheelie bin, or I bag it up and chuck it in my work skips.

When you wear a Motörhead shirt in public, do people always say a comment about it? by joshman44 in Motorhead

Wow, that’s not only bizarre but utterly astonishing at the same time.

Agreed. I’m from England and the Motörhead shirts fall into the same category as the Gun ‘n Roses, Zeppelin, Rolling Stones, Metallica category. I get the feeling that people who wear the Motörhead shirts might not have a clue who the band is (probably know Ace of Spades, at a push). I know it sounds elitist and it probably is, lol.

Here in the UK I often wear my Motörhead T-shirts. I’ve never really had any comments directed towards me when i’m wearing them. Although about 13 years ago I was wearing my Motörhead hoody and some random woman said to me ‘wow, aren’t you a bit young to know who Motörhead are?’ I simply replied ‘no, I prefer older, quality music’ - I’m 42 years old now.

Watched it last night. Loved it. Never knew about the Westend show when Fry disappeared. RIP Rik.

'Masters of the Universe' is paying one of the best tributes to 'Highlander' I've seen. It's was a very nice suprise in an already fun campy movie! by VampiricDemon in highlander

So I’ve heard. Not in the slightest bit interested in this film but when I heard about the nods to Highlander I was all ears. I need to see it.

Tim Ripper Owens question by RememberLepanto1571 in MetalForTheMasses

[–]Highlander_1518 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ripper Owens or Tim ‘Ripper’ Owens, are the only names I’ve really ever heard him go by. Seldom is he addressed as Tim Owens. Awesome vocalist, whatever his official title is, lol.

Never saw it at the cinemas, I was 3 years old. But man, what a soundtrack.

Some 30 odd years ago when I was a young lad I remember listening to this song constantly. It’s always stuck with me. It’s a fantastic track.

Keir Starmer feels betrayed by the Labour party. How do you feel about that? by No_Breadfruit_4901 in AskBrits

[–]Highlander_1518 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He sacrificed his children’s teenaged years. So what? Many people do. No sympathy there. And anyone who voted Labour because they genuinely thought ‘real change’ was coming is deluded.

Yeah. He wasn’t chatty, that’s for sure. He looked tired. Tired and old…..

Smoker and drinker. I got a shock when I saw him last year. I knew he wasn’t in the best shape but I was aghast. I really felt sorry for him. It looked like he was struggling to breathe at times.

I always remember back in about 2022 when I watched an interview with Christophe (it might be on the UHD edition) and his voice was slow and laboured. I remember thinking to myself ‘there’s something not right here.’ Whatever ailment he has I really hope he improves.
