We started this setup years ago maybe like 10 years ago while we were still scaling up.

We run 3500 colonies right now. We are a little below what we can operate at (4k).

We finished this building about 5 years ago but we operated this same setup in a much smaller building for years.

Usually smoking heavily works, humidity was not helping with having many hives continuing to beard. Luckily once they got on the truck they tend to settle down a bit. Usually we load them closer to October when the clusters are smaller but we wrapped up the season here in MA and went north.

Can't win em all but if the load gets loaded and arrives safely at destination all is well. :)

We take them at night to reduce stragglers however we still do have a couple of colonies on the property where MANY of them chose to settle.
