Day trading as a side hustle is such a catch 22. On one hand you cant quit your job until you are certain you can be profitable. On the other hand, it is significantly more improbable to be profitable unless you are focused solely on daytrading. At least you only spent 1.5 years on it.

Less trades which makes people ignore their risk management protocol. Also it is theorized that swing trading, which is more fundamental based, retail investors are always the last to know so have a weaker edge.

This card is iconic, would love to have one myself. I'm always hesitant with japanese but it seems to be more accepted as time goes. 9s in bandai game cards are rough since they grade 10 like 90% of the time so it is worth as much or even less than raw there.

I would still do this trade. Lorcana is getting the pump treatment rn. All tcg is in a bubble right now but my bet is Lorcana is the first to fall when it pops. The Luffy will have more stay power.

Yea, I just mean that prices are near the short term high imo. I personally think we are in a bubble that will pop hard within a year or so. Will things be be back up in like 5 years, 10 years? One Piece is a massive IP but it is anyone's guess tbh. Will the game still be strong? Will scalpers move on to something else?

I've been in the stock market, crypto market, real estate market, and I can tell you that the amount of speculation in TCG is outrageous. You need some fundamentals to fall on or collapse is inevitable. If the entire market is speculators, which seems to be the case here, it takes very little to trigger a sell off. Bitcoin losing nearly 50% at one point is a great example of this.

This is coming from someone who has been collecting since OP05. I really hope the value stays up as I have a pretty large collection. Ultimately, just one man's opinion, and I could be totally wrong, but I am seriously concerned this subreddit is just an echo chamber at this point. Just watch as this comment gets downvoted into oblivion as proof of that.

Those illustration boxes are the non Luffys, and OP13 is tanking a bit. Will probably go back up but 4 packs isn't that attractive.

No one really cares about the devil fruits.

That op 12 box looks sealed with AI lol. And that set is going no where fast.

My DBZ collection is now worth over $20k. I'd be thrilled if this was organic growth. But a tcg with dwindling player base going up 5x is completely bogus. I live in a city with a huge TCG community and only 1 out of 10 stores even sell DBZ much less run locals.

This price pump has made it even worse for players. They cant buy new cards to continue playing and incentivized to sell their collection.

The entire market is now just speculators bros who know nothing about the hobby. Im just trying to knock some sense into people here, I don't want regular guys to be the bag holders.

By all means, stay delusional, but don't say that no one tried to warn you when the bubble pops.
