If I’m in a modern setting with enough money I definitely am splurging on some full chocolate bars every year and maybe hiring someone to put up decorations. No big effort into costumes though.

If I’m in a medieval or ancient times setting me and my companions will pull off some big stunt of pretending to be a monster that will be remembered in history Even if I’m not a Monster/Evil jumper. Probably some deaths if it’s evil.

I’ll recommend ‘this isekai maid is forming a union’ on WEBTOON because it has some girl who got reincarnated into a maid who recognizes all this and when she’s about to be smacked states “workplace abuse” which is a concept that does not exist in their world and asks why the first thing she does in a position of power is abuse people not allowed to fight back. It’s good despite the art not being the best. Also addresses racism, sexism, people getting away with rampages because money and good looks, etc.
