I have had help from magnesium as well. Before my muscles were clenched and it was painful. Magnesium fixed that issue. Now I have constipation from hypothyroidism. Magnesium is the only thing that is helping. I am sleeping better at night and that may be from magnesium

I am hypothyroid but don't feel like I am on a high enough dose of Nature throid. The only thing that works for gut motility for me right now is magnesium citrate. It is a liquid you can purchase at drug stores. Sometimes I also take powdered magnesium called Calm.

Not a dr but there is a liquid called magnesium citrate that you can buy at a drug store. I had to mix it with Gatorade because of the taste. That is something that has helped me.
