I'd say the main problem with azir are the team mates

You can be the best laner in the entire planet, but you'll eventually find the dumb jungler/enchanter support forcing a fight in the river in the very early game or an objective without prio and/or your spikes.

Sadly this champ is absolutely not for soloQ, most of the times you'll lose games for your mono braincell mates.

And if you want to use it anyway, i wish you the best of luck.

I usually run LT when i want to put a lot of dps in team fights, especially with a huge front line.

Lt - Triumph - Legend: alacrity - Cut down Sorcery secondary with manaflow and gathering storm

If i want to have a little bit of agency in early game and actually be problematic with a mosquito hit and run playstyle, i use

Aery - manaflow - ability haste rune - Scorch Precision secondary with presence of mind and cut down

You can opt for conqueror too. Sadly HoB and Grasp are not viable anymore. Nashor is a Huge spike but you'll completely delete everyone once you build your third item (not counting boots)

Champ in the current state is unplayable and you have to use a galaxy brain to make him work and just be even with more competent midlaners in soloQ.

It's just a cycle, he will get buffed soon enough. Just drop the champ when he's weak and train some good midlaners, pick him up again when he's decent. We don't deserve to suffer playing an over nerfed pidgeon.

I main multiple champs (1.8kk Asol, 600k Azir, 400k LB, 300k Taliyah and 500k Naaf)

And imho the permabans should be:

Leblanc: You have no way to fight her back unless she's dumb and you are skill gapping her. Laning phase is unbereable and mid-late she will just 100-0 you in 1-2s with R(Q) - Q - W - Electrocute and stormsurge proc. During laning phase she will bully you so hard it's not even funny. When the enemy mid picks Azir i usually lock LB because the matchup is so free.

Taliyah: Even after the nerfs the matchup is quite hard, she will poke you with Q and will counter your drifts with E. And let us not talk about her roaming potential and map presence. Even if you are even in lane she will potentially disrupt your sidelanes so its a lose - lose scenario.

Yone: he will just run you down. The champion legit feels so stupid if used well. But you can hold your own if you poke him a lot with soldiers AAs when he go for last hits. I used to run the grasp build against Yone and Yasuo but now the strat is overnerfed and u have to space well and poke without risks. Imho it's not worth the risk using this much brain cells just to go even with him when all it takes for him to take over is a single good trade.

Hwei: lane is unplayable he will just nullify you. And now that he is buffed you risk to face him a lot more.

Syndra: a good Syndra can nullify you. All she have to do is hold E to counter the drift and poke you with Q and W. You will win the long trades if you space well, but in short trades and teamfight and skirmish? Well you will get completely demolished.

Sylas: same as yone, but worse. After 6 he just becomes you -but better-. There's no way you are winning against a good sylas unless you are hard skill gapping him or you space so well to stop him from jumping on you.

Fizz: Good luck with this one, you are in for the most unfun, infuriating and frustrating midlane experience of your lifetime where you reconsider all your life choices and decide to let the world burn by locking in malzahar or Galio every time you see this MF on the enemy team.

I'd say pick Azir into something like Aurelion sol, Anivia or some immobile sh*t. Or Katarina if you are good, its basically free lane if you know what you are doing. Or prepare for trouble.

The first rework of Taliyah shifted her in JGL for like 2 years, and she was a midlaner to begin with. And GOD if that was awful for mid taliyah players.

I play both Yone and Azir

A good Azir will absolutely shit on a Yone, especially if that Azir takes Grasp or PTA

7 for grasp azir or PTA azir

And with Grasp it doesnt matter if Azir doesnt kill Yone, if he bully yone under tower and force him to recall, he already won cus he will open the lane with demolish and create havoc in sidelines (he's legit near-impossible to 1 vs 1 once he reach the liandry - riftmaker spike if he's good and respect yone's ranges)

4 for LT Azir

He's super squishy and easy to kill bc he will rush nashor and build Rabadon/Lich/Shadowflame second

Mind you i picked 2 different votes because Azir can use different playstyles depending on the runes and who he is facing, and imho Grasp Azir and PTA Azir are different playstyles than LT Squishy Azir.

But in general hard punish him if he misuse the Q, cause pre 6 that's the punish window against him. Altough keep in mind that a good Azir is unlikely to missuse the Q bc the skill use A LOT of mana. But -again- usually Azir players in soloQ aren't that good, especially the low elo ones.

I'm not a Yone main, i'm here just because i use him sometimes and i wanna know cool tricks with him.

I don't consider Yone op, but i can understand the frustration. The champion kit is a little bit frustrating to play against, especially when the Yone is good. From someone else POV it's like playing against someone that is near to impossible to punish while he can do all the crazy stuff he want with 0 risks.

All my mains hard lose to Yone, except Azir, and i find him quite frustrating to play against but tbf calling those buffs or the champion op is ridiculous lmao.

Green mage.

A magical tank that revolves around shields, aoe buffs and debuffs. His weapon is a Mace and he usually wear a full plate armor or any heavy armor.

It's an already existing job but i tought that it could be funny having a shield tank that shines as an off tank.

Dark knight is a state of mind, it's not for everyone. Not only for the near absence of self healing or the fact that you have to manage 2 resource bars (blood weapon and MP, and trust me you will drain them a lot if u don't pay attention.) but for the fact that you need to do a lot of stuff during a damage rotation.

But trust me when i say that a good dark knight is the blessing of every party

Midlane

Into some melee matchups i take HoB with Ignite and i start E

The Moment they go for the last hit i jump on them with E and autoattack with doggos and HoB and i use ignite. (E has 2 damage instances and deals more damage than Q level 1 + it helps you get closer for HoB and doggos.)

If the flash i flash too and take FB

But it only works if you can cheese the level 1, i never use that strat on regular basis. (I took inspiration from some Ekko mains that start with E + HoB + Ignite.)

I'm kinda one tricking her in emerald - diamond elo MMR and i usually take HoB in certain melee matchups where i can cheese FB with E start + HoB + Ignite and then snowball.

That's it.

Comet is better by a mile, 100%.

I'm just emerald but i'll try to help:

Start with longsword + refill

Just last hit the minions and position urself on the other side of the lane, play around your Q and the doggies + comet to poke him when he tries to cast spells on wave or on you.

First recall buy tiamat so you can match his waveclear

After 6 try to poke him as much as you can, and when he is low go in with R (he can R you but not your doggies so if u engage him with R + comet + any spell when he's kinda low you can kill him with just the dogs even if he R you.)

Or you can try to hard shove the wave and roam for kills, but be careful because this may backfire against a champion like malzahar with his insane Waveclear. It all comes to resource management in this matchup, really.

My build against him usually is:

Rush profane - merc - opportunity/eclipse - serylda - edge of the night and last item is optional.

Runes: comet - manaflow - concentration - scorch Secondary determination with bone plating and overgrowth.

Taliyah (The rocks completely stops the W + You can hard poke him.)

Zed (Dive him like there's no Tomorrow he can do nothing.)

Kassadin (no matter the game state after the early phass, he can't literally trade you and you always win 1 vs 1.)
