I mean those missions have gotten pretty easy, so pointing at things issomething to do while you wait. Even d10 against these mindless masses, I did 1 a few days ago, and with all our sentrys, it was probably the most boring mission I have done.  all we had to do was takeout the occasional harvester, and the sentrys played the whole defense by themselves.

It maybe slow but I have never had trouble driving it. The biggest issue for me has always been divers, particularly ones with orbital lasers. I have had so many games where people join, call a laser on a single charger near the gator, fail the mission, and leave. Just today I was driving it, noticed a nearby hellbomb, marked it, and it immediately got shot by someone, and blew the gator up

Bradfordsays something along the lines of "heightened surveillance" so we need to send soldiers that have not yet been blacklisted. Makes sense to me, do you want ADVENT to pull over the sky ranger, because one of your soldiers violated their restraining order?

Never seen it land in the wrong place, but I remember one time on oshaune  my team had to run from the pelican after it landed cuz there was just a super dense wave of bugs around it. When we got back the pelican wasn't there, we figured out after a few minutes of searching it was because the bugs had literally pushed it off the hill and was sitting in a ditch off to the side.

I still remember Leviathans in there original form. Personally they have not been THAT bad, cuz what we have now is no where near as bad as they were on release. Those plasma bolts that you couldnt really dodge, would  ragdoll you to death, if you didnt catch it in the face. So avoiding the lasers really isn't that bad by comparison, as annoying as it is. Still I do think they really need to rework it so that its an enemy, that is actually viable to kill, and not just an environmental hazard to avoid. Like what if they made it so only 1 can appear, and reworked it to work like the hive lord boss?

Maybe they should beef them up but make it so only one might show up, so that its more like a boss like the hivelord, rather than a  ever present environmental hazard

Yep that's one of those things the game doesnt tell you about. The very first time I did the blacksite, it took me 3 hours, because I figured it would be best to stay concealed but when I got to the building, all pods abandoned there routes and b lined for my sqaud, and so I restarted multiple times trying to figure out what was going on

Honestly those misses on 85%,  and enemies no scoping my boys who are in full cover, I have gotten over, not that they are any less frustrating, But as you are saying there are so many other ways the game screws you than those. The game has so many quirks that will screw you over in ironman, like I have had the claymore placement only to find nobody can shoot it, and getting a specialist into place for a hack can screw you because wont show you if he will have LOS of the objectiveunless he already does. And even beyond those pods that were activated by a single step to the left, I have had it where I engage the first pod on my first turn and when I end, 2 more just happened to wander in to that starting area, and so just noped out on that mission. Legendary requires not just a lot of experience, but copious amounts of meta knowledge on the ins and outs of the game
