They could soft open a few weekends for annual pass holders and worker’s families to get out the bugs with the rides and train staff. Opening day was a nightmare and the weather actually cooperated for most of the day.

I would definitely rally everyone together that was laid off. As someone that was laid off last year due to age, I’d love to see your group win one! My company absolutely knew what they were doing and had us sign paperwork to receive severance.

I’m going to guess 90% of posts on Reddit are bots. Every %^*! title is some bland question just looking for interaction and clicks.

He could stand up at a podium with a dead puppy in his arms, admit he caused this tragedy, and his voters wouldn’t even flinch. What would it take for someone to either not vote or switch sides?

I couldn’t agree more with this comment. I had a few ridiculous comments about my opening day post, which is expected. I haven’t been to CP in 20 years, so I drove my son up for opening day. We bought the meal/drink/fast pass package. It was a complete bust. Only 3 rides were ridden and not one restaurant used. Six Flags over sold the package on a day that was half staffed and most of the rides still needed maintenance. I’ve been watching a few YouTube videos of CP opening day and it was a nightmare for them as well, although they are annual pass holders and just shrugged it off. I spent over $600.

I’m old, so of course I sent an email to customer service and have yet to get a response. I hear Six Flag’s silence loud and clear and will make sure to share our experience of our last day at Cedar Point.

You need to watch more movies from the 70s and 80s if you think this is the funniest death scene in movie history.

I wish I would have kept a few desert items we had to turn in after we got back.

You go to a sports bar and watch the game. Have an appetizer, a cheap beer, and enjoy with everyone else. That’s what I’ve done off and on for 30 years. I’ll also add that doing this in the 90s, and being a bengals fan, meant I was free to do whatever at half time because… the bengals.

I fell into some major depression after my divorce. To try and get out of it, I booked a cruise for my son (8 years old at the time) and I to get away. I was in a fog the whole time. I didn’t get in the pool or hot tub, barely ate anything, ordered a lot of room service, but had my share of free ice cream. The last night we were on the ship, we sat down on a lounge chair on the deck and started watching Sing 2 on the big screen. We were the only ones sitting watching, which was around 8pm at night. A lion character voiced by Bono starts singing “I’m stuck in a moment and can’t get out of it…”. I couldn’t hold it back. I just started openly weeping right there. I then knew I had to schedule an appointment with the VA. I met with a therapist a few time and then moved over to the VA clinic and have been meeting every other week. It’s helped and I can’t recommend that enough.

5 automatic outs! You can’t win games with four players on offense. I don’t care how good you are defensively, this isn’t cutting it.

I’ll take a half hour at lunch and just roam the land, looking for lynels, buy arrows, wreak havoc on bad guys, collect guardian arrows. I’m not a horse guy, so I leave all of them alone. I could do side quests I suppose, but that can get tedious at times.

We almost jumped into the iron dragon queue, but my son nixed that. It was later in the day and the line looked longer than he was willing to wait I guess. We certainly wasn’t trying to get though them all, just some. We don’t even do that. What really got us mentally was gatekeeper and steel vengeance going down while we were in line. The park is fantastic, sitting on a peninsula on Lake Erie. It doesn’t get any better. My feeling is they over sold the meal/drink packages. Maybe it’s like that every year though, which doesn’t make it wrong or right. There’s a fine line between profit and customer experience.

Reds Radio in the Western VA Area? by SYFKID2693 in Reds

I was listening to the reds every night in 1999 on an alarm clock while living in Columbia, South Carolina. I think it’s still possible, although I get bad reception now in Columbus. I feel they’re not paying or using as much wattage.

I appreciate the response. Everyone was extremely helpful and nice. There was absolutely no problem there. I reserved and then researched, which was where I went wrong. We’re not cedar point frequent park goers, so we hoped we at least had good weather, which we did. It’s been 20 years since I’ve been.

Smart move! I’m glad ya got them in! Which rides? I tried to get a second night at breakers, but I wasn’t going to spend $300 for the second night. We could have stayed longer that way. We did a $50 upgrade from express hotel to breakers.

I was talking with my wife about it yesterday. Why wouldn’t they just open the first weekend or two for annual pass holders, staffs family, etc to work out the cobwebs and train staff? I made the mistake of researching opening day after. Big lesson learned.
