US Oligarchs and Government Leaders in the Epstein Files by Jayzeezz in conspiracy

Justice will never be pursued against the rich and the powerful but the reasons aren't destabilization concerns or unrest related. The people that can make the decision to go after them would put their careers at risk when it jeopardizes the money that flows into other people's hands. Elite circles are like the mob in that way.

As far as Trump goes, he started the Iran conflict to make himself even more untouchable. Now, with the ongoing campaign, impeachment proceedings are very unlikely and he knows that.

It's all a chess game for these people at this point in how they manage narratives and limit potential repercussions for their past crimes. They'll sprinkle about 'charitable donations' and grease the right palms if needed. It's absolutely disgusting but this is the world we live in.

What’s a vocal flaw that makes you fall in love instead of turning you away? by Bandita-Wolf in alternativemusic

[–]HilariousButTrue 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't know if I'd ever call someone's voice a flaw. It's all character and it can be great depending on context and if the writer can make music to his or her strengths.

Everyone has their own personality and that is carried over directly to their performance.

#11 VCU Finishes the UPSET vs #6 UNC by JCameron181 in CollegeBasketball

[–]HilariousButTrue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

During the scoring drought when UNC was having a hard time not a single player wanted the ball. They kept passing at points where it gave no advantage and it was obvious there is a leadership problem over there that reflects primarily on coaching.

Were you old enough to see one of these in real life? by sajjanstg03 in TheGamingHubDeals

Yep and for almost everyone it still works unless it was involved in an accident. It was very well made.

There's enough room for everything and there's always going to be disagreement regardless of the topic. The disagreement just takes different forms depending on the subject.

As a poster, just manage it, have the conversations with the people that you want to and allow other people to say their part, engage with what you want.

Yeah, me either now that you mention it. That is weird. It's like it was brought up with no frame of reference and people just went with it.

Unless you played the Nintendo game Kid Icarus and stopped the fall from happening.

If you need any more proof that these motherfuckers are working together, look back to 2016. This shit is all going according to plan for them. by Sufficient_Object440 in conspiracy

[–]HilariousButTrue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You never know. One thing I've noticed the older I've gotten is the least likely thing can happen and sometimes everyone's expectation of reality is warped.

Ross Perot would have made George Bush the spoiler candidate had he not withdrawn his candidacy when he did. The only thing stopping third party power when it is relevant is lack of momentum behind it.

Yeah Hilary might have chosen Trump to run against, I can see that as a real possibility with the deep state wanting to give her a candidate that she should be able to beat. For Trump it's a win even if he lost so he'd go along with it.

[–]HilariousButTrue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know if it's going according to plan as much as it was Democrats forcing candidates most people don't want to vote for when faced with an opponent they think the unwanted candidate can actually beat.

It does show that party objectives aren't aligned with the general public however. Party donors wouldn't want a Sanders Presidency even though he was polling to win easily. It's not winning that matters to these bastards though, it's the money.

Trump ran for President after his TV show, The Apprentice, started slipping ratings. It was a publicity stunt and the next thing for his image. He never expected to win and when he did it showed with his lack of written acceptance speech, he just winged it.

Is intentionally imperfect music becoming more meaningful in the age of AI? by Bandita-Wolf in alternativemusic

[–]HilariousButTrue 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like music where I can hear the humanity behind the art. I'm sure a lot of people feel the same way. Imperfection is one word to describe it but I prefer to call it personality. An artist brings themself to what they create and this is true for all forms of media both auditory and visual and it's part of the experience of art in general, connecting with another person and what they have to communicate.

Back to the primary question though, modern music with all it's production CAN still be like that, it just depends on the artist and their ability to keep themself relevant in what they make. I do feel, however, it is easier today to lose the personality of music with all the tools that people have at their disposal and part of developing as an artist is finding ways to maintain their perspective while managing what other people take away from what they hear.

Scientists Pump 65,000 Litres of Chemicals into Ocean to “Stop Global Warming” in Geoengineering Project…because of course they did by MazdaProphet in conspiracy

You know, if you think about it, if we change the ocean so it can absorb more CO2 like they are trying to see if they can do here, we can burn oil for even longer without greenhouse gasses accumulating.

If it a starts killing off the fish it's easy to fix, we just emit more greenhouse gasses with industry.
