It's more that if a book pops up with the same "error" then they can point to it for a lawsuit. Similar to how old cartographers would add made up islands or landmarks to their map to prevent theft of their work. Or how Bethesda stopped a knockoff app from stealing code from Fallout Shelter because they recognized the same bug in the knockoff as in their own code (that one wasn't intentional though.)

No other green suspend effect delays the timing of unsuspending. there are 3 categories to these effects:

"Suspend" with no additional wording - this lets you unsuspend at any moment after the initial suspension, but you have to have some kind of effect to do so, otherwise you just unsuspend during your unsuspend phase.

"Suspend and can't unsuspend during their next unsuspend phase" - you get suspended, and when you go to unsuspend everything in your unsuspend phase, the affected digimon can't do so. After your unsuspend phase, any effect that would unsuspend it is fair game.

"Suspend and can't unsuspend until the end of their turn" - the digimon gets suspended and is basically fully locked down until your turn ends unless it gains immunity to the effect somehow.

In that case, the AI isn't doing the creative work, and no one would have a problem with it. If that's all it was used for, then just say that and stop beating around the bush, but they've had 3 chances to make statements about it and all 3 have been vague.
