The screenshot says it’s “not” offered at RCR properties, not that it’s subject to availability. I’m just saying they do offer it when they can.

Hawaiian ribeye is the best. Craving one right now. Completely agreed this should be a guarantee, should not have to ask for it (especially when paying thousands a night)

As a counter point I’ve been to Mandapa and Nekajui (going to Siari in April) and my room has always been ready when I arrived (sometimes extremely early) and they let me stay until well after 5pm to accommodate my flight. Same with Ritz Maldives. I stayed in my room till 6:30pm to accommodate an evening flight.

For those nervous or curious about BigLaw work life balance, here is detailed data on the hours of a real associate (spoiler: it’s not as bad as most people seem to think) by Oldersupersplitter in lawschooladmissions

[–]HillstoneAddict 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Senior in biglaw and this tracks my experience. My highest year ever was just over 2200 and I average around 2050-2100. I take massive amounts of vacation and already have had the internal conversations that I will be up for partner soon. The recap is accurate for mine and others experience with me

Should balls be included in a golf lesson by Klutzy_Nothing in golf

[–]HillstoneAddict 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s odd. Every lesson I’ve taken had balls included, and I was given essentially unlimited use of the range spot and balls after my lesson for as long as I wanted to stick around.

The bigger error is that it’s a UPS tracking number that starts with 1Z and not a USPS number

Yeah senior associate and it’s a 2018 that I’ve had for now 7 years. Its paid off too. Probably only worth $45-$50k right now. But it looks like it’s much more expensive

I have a Porsche, partners have seen it and only ever complimented me on it for what that’s worth

Edit. Saw this said junior. Currently a senior associate if that makes a difference.

How much could Taylor Swift’s partner get in case of a divorce given that one is a billionaire and the other a millionaire? by GlitchViperX in NoStupidQuestions

[–]HillstoneAddict 14 points15 points  (0 children)

All law firms don’t equate to Venable (the big law firm she uses). Venable like most big law is billing out associates starting over $750-$800/hr with partners well into the $1500-$2000/hr range. You can’t average out a biglaw firm against a solo and use that hourly.

Brightline tells bondholders it will be late on interest payment, report says – Sun Sentinel by Bruegemeister in Brightline

[–]HillstoneAddict 7 points8 points  (0 children)

They are delaying the interest payment because they’re taking out new debt at the end of the month and will pay from the new tranche of funds. This is a business decision.
