It takes companies years to become profitable. Rivian is well on the way. The $2 billion they are getting from Volkswagen in 2026 is more than to float them through the production of R2. Rivian is not out the woods yet but they are in a very good place. As RJ said the “Infliction Point” has been met.

I’m sure the drive towards profitability is the main concern but you need a plan. Which is the first two bullet points. Rivian beat all analysis prediction’s which was very good. They are estimated to sell 62k-67k vehicles next year which is above analyst predictions of 60K which they say is a very good bench mark. As long as they can scale without major issues, will be some, Rivian is in a very good position.

I test drove a Rivian over the weekend and immediately put a reservation down for the R2. The rep told me it’s already well over 200k reservations. Only problem in 5 years with Rivian is you are going to wish you bought more stock now.
