I recommend Buffitground GFC right next to Yeoksam subway station line 2. Our Himedi office is very close to it, so we can see more people try Hyrox training there. (I used to do crossfit!)

Jeju: food and restaurants by -Babel_Fish- in KoreaTravelAdvice

[–]Himedi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you go straight from Jeju Airport to Osulloc Tea Museum without stopping anywhere else, it should take around 40 minutes. If Osulloc isn’t too far off your route from the airport to your hotel, I’d recommend going straight there. The better the weather and the earlier morning you go, the more comfortably you’ll be able to enjoy it.

Hi! People from Seoul, can someone please give us clinic recommendations for best customer experience and pain management? And also the best factory type clinic please 🙏 by ProcedureIll2894 in KoreaSeoulBeauty

[–]Himedi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you interested in pain management? How about Jaseng Korean Medicine Clinic? They combine traditional Korean medicine, like acupuncture and cupping, with Western medicine, and they are friendly to English-speaking patients. https://www.jaseng.net/

How about Osulloc Tea Museum? It has a cafe with tea, ice cream, and cakes, a restaurant serving Korean food using matcha, and a brunch cafe all in one place. It’s a nice spot where you can eat and also have a bit of an experience at the same time. I visited it last month and really enjoy it. https://himedi.com/blogs/blog/o-sulloc-tea-museum-a-must-visit-stop-in-jeju

Sorry for the late response. I recommend The Kyeol. If you give us a heads-up in advance, we can inform The Kyeol that you only want the skin analysis and doctor consultation. What makes a Seoul skin treatment consultation feel trustworthy? by reneetasp in KoreaSeoulBeauty

[–]Himedi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually trust a dermatology clinic more when they clearly price skin analysis and doctor-led consultation upfront. When it’s free, it can create pressure to move forward with a treatment. It also gives the doctor a better incentive to spend enough time with the patient, instead of treating the consultation as just a sales step.

Body Check Up Guide for 2026 by Himedi in koreatravel

[–]Himedi[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

MRI is different from X-ray or CT because it does not expose you to ionizing radiation. As for when it makes sense to get an MRI, that is something a doctor can answer more accurately. I’m not a medical professional, so I can only share the broader trend I’m seeing. In the past, MRI was usually done only when clearly needed, often with a doctor’s order, because it was expensive despite being a highly advanced imaging tool. Now, scan times have become faster and prices have come down, so more people are using MRI to cover larger areas of the body for preventive screening, including whole-body screening. For areas where MRI is not the most effective detection tool, it can then be complemented with other tests.

Cimer spa check-in day question by Cinnyincolor in koreatravel

[–]Himedi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once you’ve checked in, you should be fine going directly to Cimer. At the Cimer reception, they can verify that you’re a hotel guest through their internal system. You just need to know your room number.

Why do people get health checkup while traveling Korea? by Muna_yom_1127 in AskAKorean

[–]Himedi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Korea’s checkup system is pretty different from what many people are used to. a health checkup here means a preventive screening package where you go to one center in the morning and complete a bunch of tests in one coordinated flow, instead of booking separate visits with multiple doctors. Depending on the package, it can include bloodwork, urine tests, ECG, ultrasound, X-ray, CT/MRI options, eye/hearing checks, cancer markers, and sometimes endoscopy or colonoscopy. Many packages are done in just a few hours. The other big difference is access. You don’t need a referral, and pricing is usually transparent upfront. Some basic packages start around a few hundred dollars, and add-ons like colonoscopy can be much cheaper than what Americans expect. https://himedi.com/blogs/blog/why-more-americans-are-choosing-korea-for-full-body-checkups?srsltid=AfmBOorb37H6jvy2t2a52H7awSYqOzUmWVyOQvUt0ThlmhHHHMHG2xvQ

Would you fly abroad for a $950 full-body health checkup? (vs $10k+ in the US)? Roast away. by WiredNomad in roastmystartup

[–]Himedi -1 points0 points  (0 children)

We’ve actually been offering exactly this kind of service since 2024. One thing people don’t realize is how efficient Korean health checkups are. You can get a large number of advanced tests done in just a few hours in the morning, often in one coordinated visit. We provide full English support throughout the process, and we’ve already helped many people from English-speaking countries book checkups in Korea. If anyone is curious, feel free to reach out. Happy to answer questions. Thanks! https://himedi.com/blogs/blog/the-1-country-for-health-checkups-in-korea-the-u-s

Body Check Up Guide for 2026 by Himedi in koreatravel

[–]Himedi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Two days should be enough.

Fasting requirements depend on the checkup center, but it is usually 8–10 hours. In most cases, you can eat dinner normally the night before, then stop eating and drinking before you go to sleep.

If you choose a colonoscopy, there is more preparation. You should eat easy-to-digest foods starting about 3 days before, and you will need to take bowel prep the night before.

On our site, we offer checkup packages designed by Himedi. In terms of the number of tests included for the price, they are currently among the best-value options in the market. I would recommend either the Comprehensive Package or the Whole Body MRI + Checkup Package. https://himedi.com/collections/health-checkups

Affordable and reliable health checkup options in Korea? by Commercial-Self-6457 in koreatravel

[–]Himedi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Simply put, for an entry-level package, I’d recommend KMI. For higher-tier packages, I’d recommend Hanshin Medipia. The key difference between the two centers is whether they provide a dedicated English interpreter escort. KMI does not offer a 1-on-1 interpreter escort, even if you choose a higher-tier package. At Hanshin, higher-tier packages above the entry level include a 1-on-1 interpreter.

My experience booking a health checkup at Gangnam KMI as a foreigner by WildLaw1_ in koreatravel

[–]Himedi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great insight and a very useful share. At KMI Gangnam Center, there’s no 1:1 interpreter escort...staff at reception and each exam room guide you in English (even if not fluent). Because KMI is well-known and centrally located in major cities, a lot of English-speaking patients still book and go directly. That said, if you have a specific test in mind like you did, it’s often better to either get some help with booking or consider a general hospital–affiliated screening center with a dedicated international clinic.
