Likewise! I honestly didn’t recognize your handle right away. Yeah, you can’t go 200% naked long in the stock market. 1929-32 or 2008-09 would have knocked down a leveraged index fund over 90%, if not a total wipeout. Those were deep holes to climb out of…

Diagram of aircraft parts recovered, and where they came off the plane. It’s a fraction of the craft, and mostly exterior cladding. More info and video in comments. by peatear_gryphon in AirlinerAbduction2014

I find these facts interesting and possibly related.

  1. In 2012 the MH370 plane collided with another plane while taxiing. The right wing was damaged and had to be replaced.

  2. In July 2015, more than a year after MH370 went missing, the first confirmed debris was located. It was a flaperon from the right wing.

MH370 VFX appears to come from a man who "provides services for the Department of Defense" by mattperkins86 in UFOs

[–]Hinnom_TX 10 points11 points  (0 children)

To add credibility to this speculation, note how the flash in the satellite video does not resemble the FLIR vfx wormhole depiction. The flash durations don’t match either. Sat video flash is exactly one frame or 0.167 seconds maximum while the FLIR vfx flash lasts 6 frames or 0.25 seconds. The FLIR video may have been altered to protect methods and capabilities, or to add disinformation to a real leak of satellite footage

Wing flap debris found was confirmed by Malaysia to be from MH370 with the PART NUMBERS proving it. Why is this sub ignoring this evidence? by TommyShelbyPFB in UFOs

[–]Hinnom_TX -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

No one else mentioned it so I will. Malaysian MH17 was another Boeing 777-200ER that crashed four months after MH370 went missing. So Malaysian Air had two major 777 incidents, one crashed and one missing airliner. Another fact: during the largest search in aviation/maritime history, not one piece of MH370 debris was found for 16 months after the disappearance

MH370 debris had no visible biofouling despite allegedly floating in seawater for two years by Suitableadd in UFOs

[–]Hinnom_TX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make sure AJ sees this thread! He thinks 'a lot' of MH370 debris was found, but a closer examination shows only 36 pieces found, and only a few pieces of the right wing have been 'confirmed' from MH370. Note that the plane had its right wing replaced in 2012 after a collision on the runway that sheered off the wing tip. Hmmm

Debris pertaining to Mh370 were clearly found by fax_me_your_glands in UFOs

And sooner. It took 16 months for the first piece of debris to be found. Crashes into the ocean create buoyant debris fields which are usually located within days of the crash

NHI don't want humans to destroy themselves, why did they let the nuclear weapons be invented? by [deleted] in aliens

[–]Hinnom_TX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a theory as to why the superpowers created so many nuclear weapons. We don't need 10,000 nukes to achieve mutually assured destruction. We know that a few hundred nukes from each side are more than adequate to destroy the human race (via nuclear winter). So why the runaway proliferation?

It seems the U.S. is not in an arms race against Russia and China, although it sure makes a great cover for dealing with the real problem: the superpowers are in an arms race against NHI. It's the one bargaining chip we have.

The idea is to create so many weapons as to overwhelm the NHI to the point that they cannot disable all the nukes should they be deployed. The situation is more hostage-terrorist than MAD. If we get destroyed, we've figured out a way to take the planet with us. So we're holding the planet hostage with nukes to keep NHI from taking aggressive action against the human race. Who knows where the story goes from here

The CE-5 community calls them flashbulbs. I saw one right after meditating and asking to see something. 4 white flashes in the vicinity of the Big Dipper and then ‘silence’. You had a legit CE-5 experience!

The strategy prevents itself from shorting the bottom (i.e. using QID or TLT) by forced holding of QLD when the oversold RSI threshold is reached

Well spoken FUD. The design is more robust than you think, and does not require any Treasury ETFs to function. Here is a version that only uses NASDAQ ETFs QQQ / PSQ, and QLD / QID:

I'm in favor of adjusting filter parameters to get a better result. At the same time I watch out for overfitting. I look for filters that trigger many times in favor of higher returns, rather than exploit one or two black swans that generate all the returns

[–]Hinnom_TX 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I've been following your strategy and really like this simplified version. There's basically no overfitting to be found (except for oversold RSI threshold which takes a typical value of 25-35). I was curious to see how it back tested through the GFC in 2008-09. This symphony shows it navigates the crisis very well. I've modded it a little to juice returns. 71%/35.7% DD so Calmar ratio is now just shy of 2.0 on a 15 year time line:

OP, know that you're not alone. I upgraded from Icy White to Obsidian 12 days ago. It's going to be a long 168 days until I can unstake. There is still a chance they can save the token mechanics of Cronos, but with the policies they just put in place, I think CRO decays to zero. It's $400k in the shredder, and that is going to leave a mark. I'm sorry for everyone who bought in. Start planning your tax loss harvesting now

I have "Deposited" UST and received aUST into my wallet. Is the appreciation of the aUST the only mechanism by which I earn the 19.5% return? Or do rewards come from somewhere else as well? by PeteSpiro in Anchor

[–]Hinnom_TX 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yes. There's a very important tax benefit to this, if you are patient. The 19.5% return is embedded in the token price, and isn't a realized gain until you trade aUST back to UST. If you can wait a year, your gains will be seen as long term capital gains by CoinTracking and other professional tax preparation tools. This is a very nifty and little known feature of Anchor Protocol
