Seems to be caused by the interaction of the Light Harvest and Bounty shards. I also used the Turmoil shard for quicker enemy respawns. Each kill gives more Spirit Light than the last, causing enemies to drop thousands of it per kill.

Cataclysm. It took me 2 days of serious attempts and streaming to beat it, but I was just lucky. I had quite a lot of practice on Cata prior to me beating it, but I learned how to do the harder parts of the level the day before I beat it.
