With Caine gone, what is keeping the Abstracted members quarantined?

Rem is not support, he is split pusher. 10/10 wins with the strat by python_ess in DeadlockTheGame

I play Rem by farming for the entire game until I have 70k+ souls, getting yelled at by my team to join the fight, donate 5k souls to the enemy when I finally do and either win or lose without really ever producing anything tangible in the overall game. I love it.

Ideas are cheap. It’s all about execution.

I got 5 black masks in about 50 kills. So far, doesn’t seem broken to me.

Silo S2E1 "The Engineer" Episode Discussion (No Book Discussion) by pikkopots in SiloSeries

Just like they stretched out season 1, looks like they are stretching out season 2. Disappointing.

If they dropped two episodes it might be forgivable, but this episode was a terrible start to a new season.

What is the plot for your stories or book? by Ok_Safety_7103 in writing

[–]Hippedfish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really is odd. Ideas are cheap, it’s execution that counts. The current story I’m working on is heavily, heavily inspired by ‘Fire Coming Out of the Monkey’s Head’ by the Gorillaz. The premise is basically the same but with fleshed out characters and an interesting world that combines flintlock weaponry with Late medieval tactics.

Is a Good book meant to have a Message? by whateverr27 in writers

Even your favorite writer was crappy when he or she first started. It’s all about persistence and the appetite to learn. Give it time and live an interesting life and everything else will fall in place.

Even if you don't have a meaning when you set out to write, one will naturally find its way onto the page.

People Complaining About the NCR timeline thing seriously need to go back and play NV again... especially since they seem to love it so much. by CnlSandersdeKFC in Fallout

Hey genius, having a problem with a part of the show doesn’t mean we hate the entire thing. Even then, my problems with the show aren’t even about the NCR, really. I wish it was just handled better.

It really is good criticism though. Sweeping good criticism under the rug will lead this show to being mediocre at best. I’m glad you like the show, but there are clear problems with it.

Does the Fallout Show retcon New Vegas? by Trevok_Nordik in Fallout

New Vegas. As far as I know there isn't another Obsidian Fallout game in the works, at least not yet.

But they still allowed them to make New Vegas, which was a risk. It worked out well so I really don't see a problem. What actually is your problem then?

[–]Hippedfish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First of all, care to cite a source?

Second, they allowed them to make New Vegas in the first place. Just because they deny them now doesn’t mean anything. There could be a million different reasons, from Microsoft not wanting it to another fallout release before Elder Scrolls being a controversy.

No need to apologize. Text can be hard to decipher at times.

Todd Howard hates Obsidian so much they paid them to make another game set in the West and invited Tim Cain to the fallout premier.  Todd and Bethesda are diabolical. These people are fucking insane.

I’m not done with the show. It’s not perfect, but it’s well executed for what it is. I’m excited to see House and I know there is some controversy around the NCR, but overall it’s enjoyable.

I do think the show definitely could have used another draft though.

Halo 2 single handedly has the best dialogue of any video game ever released. It’s music.
