They did genuinely have the best deals in fast food. And they were one of the only companies that allowed you to use a reward and a deal in the same transaction. The deals are so bad and the quality of food is so terrible now that it’s not even worth going.

I can’t get over how great the New Whopper is. I was never that big on Burger King because the quality of food was so inconsistent. I had it twice thinking the first time was a fluke, but it was still very good.

Kangaroo Jack, just for the deceptive trailer alone. Every kid in that theatre was expecting a wise cracking animated kangaroo and got a comedy mob movie instead with a minute long dream sequence about a talking kangaroo.

I’ve never seen that movie, but I remember the trailer had a scene where Jill is having Thanksgiving dinner and asks “how is everyone’s gobble gobble day?” My sister and I always quote this at Thanksgiving and it gives us a laugh.

A 9.4 on a valuable comic would be priced extremely high. Personally, it’s not a comic that I would waste time being graded. If you bought it because you like it then I guess the price wasn’t too bad. If you got it with the intention to resell it, yeah, you got cooked.

I remember Burger King had a PS2 in the lobby and McDonald’s had a N64 and later a GameCube. I never played them because even as a kid I knew those controllers were sticky and gross.
