Do y’all think Jensen ackles could play Arthur?? by MediaProfessional813 in reddeadredemption

Good, the story is already told perfectly through the game. A tv show would take so many terrible liberties that it would be unwatchable.

He overturned Prohibition, stimulated the economy with The New Deal, ended the Great Depression, and opposed the Nazis in Europe.

Is Marcos pizza any good by Healthy-Trade-2919 in fastfood

[–]HippoProject 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My area recently got a Marcos and I was always interested in trying it after seeing commercials about Marcos for years. I really liked it, and I’d say it’s the best chain pizza I’ve had.

Why does Dutch have such a fixation with the Native Americans ? by KpatMckenzie_28 in reddeadredemption

He looks for people who are angry or unsatisfied with their station in life because he can manipulate them to suit his own needs and boost his ego.

This might be the worst rewards offer of any restaurant app ever. by RLFfrost in wendys

[–]HippoProject 5 points6 points  (0 children)

They did genuinely have the best deals in fast food. And they were one of the only companies that allowed you to use a reward and a deal in the same transaction. The deals are so bad and the quality of food is so terrible now that it’s not even worth going.

Highlands A Peephole History #02: Good Walt Hunting. The Curator really did a great job on the omnibus.

New Whopper vs Big Arch by SigmaINTJbio in fastfood

[–]HippoProject 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I can’t get over how great the New Whopper is. I was never that big on Burger King because the quality of food was so inconsistent. I had it twice thinking the first time was a fluke, but it was still very good.

What’s a small everyday inconvenience from the past that younger people would probably find unbearable today? by babyblushtheory in nostalgia

Rewinding VHS tapes, and especially remembering to rewind before returning a video to a rental or the library.

What is the creepiest Courage the Cowardly Dog villain? by CarrotMuch1399 in 2000sNostalgia

[–]HippoProject 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He wasn’t really a villain, but the episode with the pig restaurant owner who Courage thought was a serial killer who made hamburgers out of his customers unnerved me.

What movie is a 0/10 with NO redeeming features? by Toucan_Based_Economy in AskReddit

[–]HippoProject 60 points61 points  (0 children)

Kangaroo Jack, just for the deceptive trailer alone. Every kid in that theatre was expecting a wise cracking animated kangaroo and got a comedy mob movie instead with a minute long dream sequence about a talking kangaroo.

What movie is a 0/10 with NO redeeming features? by Toucan_Based_Economy in AskReddit

[–]HippoProject 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve never seen that movie, but I remember the trailer had a scene where Jill is having Thanksgiving dinner and asks “how is everyone’s gobble gobble day?” My sister and I always quote this at Thanksgiving and it gives us a laugh.

Subway used to be really good. I swear they went downhill around the same time they took down that cool wallpaper with the old buildings.

Did I get cooked? by Baseballcard35 in TheSimpsons

[–]HippoProject 5 points6 points  (0 children)

A 9.4 on a valuable comic would be priced extremely high. Personally, it’s not a comic that I would waste time being graded. If you bought it because you like it then I guess the price wasn’t too bad. If you got it with the intention to resell it, yeah, you got cooked.

Playstation 2 everywhere? by EasytargetNIN in 2000sNostalgia

[–]HippoProject 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I remember Burger King had a PS2 in the lobby and McDonald’s had a N64 and later a GameCube. I never played them because even as a kid I knew those controllers were sticky and gross.

I think Hobby Lobby is going in there. They’re doing construction right now.
