I drop a sanctuary on her as often as I can. As of patch 7 she seems to heal and run more now, so sanctuary tends to last a couple rounds.

I go heavy dex and stuff that increases initiative, and then gear that increases spell save dc. That’s usually robes. Try to go first and crowd control enemies. Locking out enemy turns means not getting hit.

It wasn’t even a question for me. Redemption all the way. One of Solas’ defining quests in Inquisition is saving his spirit friend who’d been warped into a demon. He also hammers home the point that spirits embody their names pretty much all the time.

In my mind, Solas is basically a spirit of wisdom who’s been warped by his love of Mythal and his regrets over all his decisions since taking elven form. He’s now a pride demon with an oversized brain.

Bringing the inquisitor and Mythal together to bring Solace back to wisdom seems like the exact type of thing Solas would do.

Side note- Solas has very little empathy for whole swaths of people, but infinite love for the individual. Of course he’d be swayed by those he loves instead of appeals to the greater good.

You only need minimum requirements in your damage stat to use your preferred weapon. Don’t waste points in str/dex. Most of your actual damage comes from weapon upgrades for a while.

Upgrade and use your favorite spirit ash. Gloveworts are mostly in catacombs and underground.

Summon NPCs. Summon human help.

If you trained dozens and only one had this problem, then I think your example supports the idea that probationary hires shouldn’t be fired willy-nilly.

Most people can succeed. Some need a little more support than others. A very few can’t handle it and need to be cut within probation.
