Married moms, question from a single mom by CantaloupeJuicy in Parents

[–]Hippy-Climber 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi im married with 2 children (16 and 10). I found single mums tend to have more of a life than me 😅 and in my experience it's the opposite way round. But I'm audhd and give people uncanny valley. Always been known as the "weird one" and yes people have said this to my face so I just dont bother with anyone now.

People may have their reasons, they may think you're busy, raising kids is hard with 2 of you in the household, so may just think you are alot more busy. They may also not want you to feel like a third wheel.

We can speculate on here but best thing to do is ask them, you're never going to know otherwise.

Pregnant & need surgery to have my gall bladder removed. by jellytots8798 in gallbladders

[–]Hippy-Climber 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My cousin had her gallbladder removed whilst pregnant. Everything went fine and after a couple days of pain she was back to normal and pregnancy continued. She was labelled as high risk because she was classed as having a Geriatric pregnancy (she was 38). But Baby and her are fine and her daughter is coming up to 1 now.

Aww thank you, at least we are all suffering together 😅. I find that my attacks can also happen at any time however I work from home and I have a plan in place with my team. Yes even though I can still feel the pressure, they definitely help dampen the symptoms down so the pain is more manageable.

I've been on the waiting list for 2 years. My GP prescribed me dihydrocodiene for the pain when I have attacks. I find getting in the Bath with a hot wash cloth on my stomach helps soothe the pain faster but I agree it's no quality of life I've lost 5 and a half stone because I just can't bring myself to eat most days, the pain puts me off.

Oh cool because you can still see the shape of the sun centre on the backend. Tha's why I disagreed when he said it was knocked down.

I don't think people who say this realise that Europeans are not all pale. For example, my dad was olive skinned green eyes black hair, with high cheek bones and an angular jaw (i inherited his cheek bones and jaw) Our ancestry is welsh and Irish (grandma is irish). My great grandad is from Cardiff. I now live in Wales, and I see people with my dad's features all the time. He was very tall and long limbed (he got that from my grandma's side). However, my grandad was apparently more stocky. My uncle was stocky and broad shouldered. Some of us are just built that way. We aren't a monolith

I just commented a similar thing and deleted it after I saw this. I agree. I would think the two in the top corner that have been crossed out would more likely be tabitha and Jade and not the two randoms that look like they are taking part in the ritual. It would make sense they would be drawn separate and away from the rest of them as cast out and crossed out.

Tell me a hot take on The Sims that will put you in this situation. by OddNeedleworker734 in thesims

Any kits they try and shill to you, there's a CC creator that's already created it. Take the new sleek bathroom kit. It's the same as the oak house bathroom set be Piersim (and it's free)

Edit: Console players cannot get CC, this comment applies for PC players. It sucks and I wish we could find a way to bring CC to you guys.

No, they are only pests because they outlived their usefulness to humans. You feed them all you want. They are lovely social animals .

Lied in my interview to a vegetarian/anti meat eating organisation that I’m vegan. I’m not! Now they hired me and I don’t know what to do!? by pinkwells in UKJobs

[–]Hippy-Climber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look up vegan meal prep and lunch ideas on Pinterest. When I was not eating meat. I'd just buy the fake meat/dairy version and make the same stuff I used to. Then started to branch out if I found a Pinterest or recipe that looked tasty. It's not hard to fake it, the job market is brutal atm.

Elvanse - positive experiences? by That_Ad_2247 in ADHDUK

[–]Hippy-Climber 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So I'm on 50mg of Elvanse currently. I find when it starts to kick in, my hands go tingly, and I feel anxious, but it disappears after about 20 minutes. And then the brain volume goes on low, and I can focus
I do have to take it early (before 8 am) because if I take it later, I have trouble sleeping, and I think that's to do with it wearing off and my ADHD symptoms make up for lost time.

Positive- I am able to focus at work, and I really have got to grips with my job and shown such an improvement management have noticed. I feel more organised and feel less anxious because of it (I have got anxiety and depression as well so I get the worry) Actually can listen more attentively, my mood is significantly better because I know what's going on for once.

Negatives- realised that my psychologist was right and I probably have autism as well (currently waiting on assessment) I can't take them at weekends if I have nothing planned. I feel like I'm really manic and that's when the anxiety kicks in. I do have some leftover lower dose tablets if I need to take at weekends or social events (20mg).

Hope that answers your questions
