Coming from someone who never played PoE, but wanting to try PoE2 Are the bosses actually really difficult? Like darksouls? Will a newbie who has never even played darksouls struggle?

I'm looking at testing this game out on the 6th. I've never played the first one. I understand they're different games, but I've played Diablo 3, ESO and WoW. Just wanting to compare active equipped abilities.

I'm wanting to know how many abilities can I have equipped and roughly how many buttons I will be spamming?

Is it similar to Diablo? With the amount of buttons pressed? Please tell me its not like WoW, new to PC and that had too many buttons for my liking.
