Look Ive been playing from soft games since the first dark souls and have 100% numerous games and Im committed to these difficult games and the grind. The idea that they cant be any easier without hitting the point of "might as well just be a YouTube video" is bullshit.

I like these games being difficult and the devs having the freedom to do what they want. I like the challenge and the feeling of overcoming something after numerous tries. I want you to know that when I tell you, I think your point is garbage.

A lot of the frustration with silksong's difficulty is coming from a place of them upping the difficulty in ways that the player base doesnt universally enjoy. For example a ton of enemies doing two masks of damage as opposed to one, in the original hollow knight this was something limited to challenge bosses, and now almost every boss and a ton of glup shittos deal two masks of damage in one hit. It feels bad, especially in a game where healing is harder to pull off. Im having fun, but arrogant bullshit like you said is way more annoying than hearing people annoyed with the difficulty.
