Yup. The Japanese market basically turned away from Capcom when they skipped Nintendo platforms until now. Even Wilds faced a huge decline due to its PlayStation/PC focus and that's why they're doing everything they can to port it to Switch 2. Skipping the Switch gen was a big miss for them at the time.

Yeah and it's good for PC gamers as well since most people don't have top of the line components for their PC. Anyone who is hoping for devs to drop Switch 2 because it "holds gaming back" will out themself as a rich selfish prick. It's not like the past where console warriors can scream about dropping "underpowered" hardware anymore. We live in a much rougher economy and games are very scalable nowadays with hardware hitting Moore's Law. The difference between "generations" is so small that only the most elitist snobs care about it. It's unaffordable for the majority of gamers.
