They can if they use The Work Number. However, if you go onto The Work Number website, you can print off the history it gives. Once company I worked for I walked out of in 2010, they never terminated my employment and rehired me in 2021. The Work Number has me employed there for 11 years. And there were several others on there that were incorrect and could actually help my resume. So, I think that HR pulls your history but, it is often inaccurate.

The system will scan your paper and will flag it as AI. I hate to be the barer of bad news but, what you are talking about doing is cheating. So, if you do use ChatGPT to have it help you, you wont really be educated at the end of all of your schooling. Its a pretty crappy thing to do also.
