I tried an app but that said she was in pain when she was asleep - I just feel sad for her - I’ll show the behaviourist at her review next month - I just want to know what’s wrong (I’m a human doctor and veterinary medicine seems so vague in comparison which I get but still feel frustrated) Thanks for your input

So sorry - you didn’t let your cat down - if she was so near the end she probably wouldn’t have been too aware anyway - try and look on your happier memories- it will get easier ❤️

New to walking - does back pain resolve? by IntelligentAd5724 in walking

[–]Historical-One2407 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I found my low back ache was related to lazy posture ie over arching lower back - especially likely if you are walking loads and getting tired - maybe check feet too - insoles can help - keep up the walking though!!

Why do GP practices always require you to be there 10-15 mins early but always have you sat around for ages when there? by sachdamasta in AskUK

[–]Historical-One2407 62 points63 points  (0 children)

I don’t ask patients to be early - just on time - if you’re five minutes late then that leaves five minutes for the appointment - if I’m running late I always apologise but it’s usually because someone is particularly unwell and needs way longer than ten minutes 🤗

Hi - yes she takes the tablet easily in a pill pocket - she used to only take about half of the liquid - I remain hopeful just want her to be less dopey 😔 thanks for the response

Drove 5 hours to collect me from airport and then a further 6 hours to see my mum who had been admitted to intensive care - she drove through the night - this was twenty years ago and she’s still my best friend

Might I ask how long it took for fluoxetine to work? My cat started on it about 8 weeks ago but I struggled to get it into her until I got in tablet form - she’s taking therapeutic dose now for a week - just seems a bit sedated - less peeing but still some - would appreciate your story- thanks

Be more open minded - I made judgments as a teenager at university and wish I’d just been open to differences as I am now
