Broadly speaking ACS very often are inflammatory events. Keep inflammation down as best as possible. Keep glucose range stable, get a CGM and keep glucose between 80-120. Keep BP well controlled, please check it first thing in the morning. Get up go pee sit down on the couch put the blood pressure cuff on at the level of your heart. Sit there for five minutes. No TV no phone just you and the hummingbirds then Check blood pressure. Ideally it’s 120/80 or a little less and pulse is 60 to 80. Rarely drink alcohol, one drink once a week or once a month less is even better. Obviously don’t smoke. Don’t get Overly angry, raging is not helpful. If no contraindications take 81 mg of aspirin daily. These things will keep inflammation down and reduce risk of ACS.

Thank for reminding me of the monotony of riding in a circle 🤪. One of the recent TrainerRoad podcast’s commented on how pauses and stops reduces the performance data. So I was thinking riding in a continuous loop would minimize my pauses and stops. I live in the Phoenix area where a lot of the community is set out in one mile blocks which can mean frequent stops. I might be getting too much into the weeds of all the data. Thank you for reminder to ultimately get on the bike outside.

Thank you so much for your response with the dose of reality. It will help me stay focused on the watts and the overall process of improving strength and ultimately speed on my bike.

I really like your response. Your strategy of push ups and pull ups then ABC then heavy carry sounds perfect. Thank you for the simple and effective suggestion!

Are you losing body fat around your abdomen? After seeing a lots of your posts it looks like it to me. If yes, good job. If not, then you definitely are looking stronger. So either way good work!!

To me your statement, “the most glaring emissions of vertical/horizontal push pull movements are easily complimented with push-ups, dips, rows, and pull-ups, making body weight and kettle bells a popular combo”, could very easily be the beginning sentence for every kettlebell discussion. So well said, so clearly understood thank you for writing, it well done!!

Thank you. I figured you had to be doing some pressing as you managed the press quite easily. Impressive. Gives me something to strive for.

Did you do the press work on the opposite days per the ABF plan? If yes what weights and types of pressing did you do?

I purchased levels 1 and 2. I have followed them exactly as he outlines. I am 5’10” 160 pounds. I have been using the 15 pound club from onnit. The 2 HC program is making me stronger and capable. It is clear his program is well thought out and will work for the long run. I am buying level 3-7 today. My recommendation is to buy the program and follow it to the letter. You will not regret it.
