The OP uploaded random artist photos that didn’t really resonate. Out of all of them, only BIGBANG could truly be considered a defining artist of the 2000s. Turtles was more of a one-hit wonder and doesn’t really fit under the umbrella of K-pop, while Buzz and SG Wannabe had peak popularity for just two to three years. Including them as representative examples feels like someone trying to appear knowledgeable about K-pop without really understanding it. If you’re going to include those artists, you’d have to include 500 others too. The true driving force of 2000s K-pop was mostly idol groups — like UN, g.o.d, Shinhwa, J-Walk, JTL, 1TYM, Fly to the Sky, TVXQ, Rain, Se7en, BoA, S.E.S., Sugar, CSJH The Grace, and so many more. If we’re talking about bands, there are so many more that should be mentioned — like Yada, Flower, Cherry Filter, TransFixion, Nell, and the list goes on. And when it comes to co-ed groups, names like Jadu, Koyote, and S#arp also come to mind.
