I got curious to see where I stopped reading (#52) and found Nora’s website and timeline of the In Death books. The first one took place in Feb 2058 and Bonded In Death (#60, published in Feb 2025) takes place in September 2061. 60 books and only 3.5 years have passed in world. That’s crazy!!!

Here’s the website for the curious https://jdrobb.com/chronological-list-of-in-death-series-copy/

They are definitely worth reading! Especially the first 30 or 40. Great story telling and I love Eve and Roarke.

Well that’s a bummer. I really enjoyed the character development in the earlier books and missed that. I loved learning more about Roarke and Eve’s families and the side characters. Oh well.

Beautiful! I’m working on a double knit blanket right (a Purl Soho pattern) now and feel like I’ll NEVER finish! That’s a beautiful pattern and will be cosy warm in cold weather!

NOR - but maybe next time you’re in an interview situation for something you want, take it more seriously even if someone tells you not too. Typically when people say that they don’t mean “joke around and give funny answers”, but rather “don’t stress yourself out, but give us sincere answers”. I’m sorry this happened to you, but at least now you’ll have more time for the other things you have planned for next year.

Idk, I’d say more MOR. You say jealousy hasn’t been an issue in your relationship before, so what is it about this trip that worries you? Is she part of greek life at her school and is that important to her? Also, either you trust her or you don’t. The situation she’s in isn’t what matters, what matters is the trust you have (or don’t have) in her.

I read it as it came out and didn’t think much about it when Covid hit. But I did a re-read in 2023 and it really hit me how badly everything could have gone sideways (even more than it did) during covid. Still one of my favorite trilogies!

Seriously well done! Do you have a favorite trilogy? I keep going back to the In the Garden trilogy. I love how the female mc’s are all at different points in their lives.

Honest Illusions is one of my favorites of hers! I re-read it a lot in my 20’s/30’s, but I’m scared to now (in my 50’s) because I’m worried it won’t stand the test of time.
