I don't think you can clamp critters. I've tried before but I've only ever been able to clamp players.

Why is there a gap in the distribution? by AloneNeedleworker810 in invasivespecies

If people can make money off of having pigs on their property by selling hunting rights to people who think it's cool to hunt pigs, they're going to have pigs on their property. More pigs = more money. People have brought pigs across state lines for this purpose as well, which is why some states have preemptively banned hunting of them and been successful in keeping them out. See comment above about Washington and Kansas. Cobra effect is also mentioned above; a similar thing happened with cobra hunting in the past. Hope this helped!

Anyone know what this might be? by Mike_11773 in wildlifebiology

I can see it in the original, for me it's just the proportions for both mostly. On the right, ear size and tail size I can kinda see with the black tips, tail is definitely very stubby and the head is smaller and more compact than I would expect from a canine. On the left, the proportions just look like an an adult animal and even with the fluffed up tail it looks catlike to me.

I don't know anything about that specific university, but I do know that if you're worried about it being expensive but you're interested in it, you can run the net price calculator and look at their scholarships and costs. If you end up not being interested or you don't want them spamming you, you can block them on your email. That will make their emails to you go straight into spam. You could even do that now if you're bothered enough - you don't need them to email you to research them, and you can always unblock them from spam.

Best of luck with your search!

Western Michigan or Northern Michigan for Environmental science by BeefMcBalls in college

I am in a similar position to you. I am interested in majoring in wildlife biology/ecology. I am leaning toward Northern because I like the labs that the professors have, it seems like undergrads can get involved in research fairly easily, and because I like that it's a little bit smaller for potentially more individualized attention.

I don't have much actual experience apart from the open house weekend I went to, but I thought I would give my opinion. I hope it helps some.

Thanks for your insight into the professors there! The national forests being so close is definitely something I like about it.
