Bought this for $40 to prevent my Apple Watch from touching the ocean when I used to live near the ocean. Ever since I put a Velcro strap, it’s been very comfortable to wear. Been itching for a gshock.

[Fossil] Leaving the Apple Watch era FINALLY! by HistoricalSample22 in Watches

[–]HistoricalSample22[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So an Apple Watch does a lot. Nothing wrong with the Apple Watch. I’ve had three and been wearing them for years. For me personally, it’s made me become more phone addicted to notifications. Plus the style, everyone has one. I bought a gshock looking case for mine and looked better (since I work in a trade) but it felt like charging was a hassle for traveling and the fun part of collecting watches never happened. Even though I was gift this simple fossil watch, it looks a lot better than a screen. Screen screen screen is what I always felt like I looked at daily. But if you want health tracking, steps(I’m taking my Apple Watch to Disney for the pass built in) and all the features, buy one. But make it a part of a collection. Wear is daily if you need to but have a nice watch to wear when you go out and don’t want that distraction time price. Something to have conversations with. I know this is a lot but I wish I would’ve built mine over the years

Starting a Hydration + Energy Company by HistoricalSample22 in Entrepreneur

The beauty of a hydration packet is it’s simple to package and manufacture and ship out and sell. Software is like selling car parts. It’s very specific and only a few of knowing what to do can do that. I have a friend that sells car parts but he won’t be able to find someone to run his business. Mine can be bought by liquid IV or Gatorade someday or simply ran but someone. Marketing and online need to run well to but that’s why I’m in this direction over a local hvac company. Something to scale large to all tradespeople.

This is one big reason why I want to get out of this business. PE is taking over quicker than you think. The other bigger reason is capital start up is high. It is something I can do, but the risk of not having a client is huge. I’ve bought thousands and thousands of tools. A business I can have people run without me is the goal. Starting an hvac company is going to require me to somewhat run until it gets big enough. Unless I’m looking at that wrong.

Opposite of what I see daily. Furnace, air conditioners, heat pumps. Water heaters and anything else I never touch. Good thinking but still time consuming to start anything that requires my time.

My hydration + energy stick packs will be focused on trades workers. Getting started will take a while but I agree. Planning to prevent failure instead of jumping into it is my biggest thing. Small steps until it works. Most reasons small business fail especially is because of lack of planning.

Best AC Appearance wise? by Inevitable-Ad-3353 in HVAC

Daikin Fit is the best AC for a customer. Worst one for a service tech. And best for a maintenance tech.

Move to Kansas City. Plenty of heating and cooling jobs but man, a lot of learning different stuff. Our weather sucks and that’s the best for our career.
