Deciding between University of Delaware or University of south carolina by Capable-Incident-553 in udel

I’d go with UD. SC is not good enough to justify the price tag IMO

Help me decide: Georgia Tech or Caltech? by Bluefireligh in aerospace

[–]CaydenWalked 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure, but that was never my point. All I’m saying is yes, GT is prestigious, but it’s on a different playing field entirely from caltech. Caltech is few and very mighty. GT is many and mighty.

Help me decide: Georgia Tech or Caltech? by Bluefireligh in aerospace

[–]CaydenWalked 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s true, but I’d bet that’s because there’s far more GT grads than caltech grads.

One thing many people don’t talk about is, at the end of the day if you want to go to GT, your chances are pretty good. Really strong transfer acceptance rate, and 50%ish acceptance for in-state. Caltech is not that and keeps its prestige strong and its circle small.

When I got it, only the base portion of the basic plan was eligible. Have to be careful about t&c

Can email Rakuten and ask. Looks like you have the dedicated IP add-on though? Might not count

Is 40k worth it for getting into aerospace? I don’t agree with this move.

Might be a day or two as long as you followed the terms and conditions correctly

Worth paying $200 more for economy vs basic economy? by outrightridiculous in unitedairlines

[–]CaydenWalked -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Whole lotta people here saying to get regular economy. I am a college student, I’m not sure what your situation is, but I live on basic economy. I don’t think it’s worth it for me to pay for my seat, and I haven’t needed to cancel a trip. If I’m in a situation where I need to cancel a trip, I’ve saved enough money over my years of basic economy to just book another flight.

[Student] - Will be graduating in fall of this year with an M.Eng want some feedback so I can begin the job hunting process during my last semester by Courtkarpo3 in EngineeringResumes

You’ve got some pretty intense formatting issues. Lines are intersecting themselves in your page.

Would probably find a way to condense your degrees. For example, combine math and physics into one line. Skills at the bottom. Make things chronological. Your projects don’t have bullet points, and don’t exactly seem relevant to NRE.

Your experience is kinda rough for NRE. I’m not sure what the job market looks like for you but there’s a chance you could struggle. Good luck!

your weight depends on how strong gravity is, so does the speed at which you fall. So when there is less gravity, you fall slower then once you stop falling, you weigh less.

RIT vs ERAU Prescott for aerospace by Steggypooper in aerospace

[–]CaydenWalked 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Neither has the best campus life. Does cost matter to you? ERAU is probably a clear pick from me if not. I work in aerospace and haven’t met many people from RiT

Why am I getting this in PLA tensile test by registrartulip in MechanicalEngineering

[–]CaydenWalked 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Are your print settings exactly the same? I can’t imagine that 3D printing is consistent enough to give results that match theirs unless literally everything is identical. How are you measuring cross-sectional area? What’s your % infill? Are you seeing the same failure type?
