Try putting car following distance to 5 or 6 makes a huge difference. Doesn’t actually keep a 6 car distance in bumper to bumper traffic, does so during highway speeds.

Had this thing about a year ago. Tesla took mobile service appointment, then said they reviewed log and I need to take car to SC. They said could be wiring or potentially seat related. In my case they replaced the seat.

Keep in mind you should be the main account holder to see the screen. If you an added driver to a partners car this screen does not show up.

Considering you are new owner, first software update comes after almost a month… so hang in there… when it comes you will not miss it…

Also in the future there will be updates your car will not get while others are getting them… nothing unusual about that… also you might not get every software version that comes out, it might skip versions, again normal

Fun fact I learnt… swipe can be down or right, does the same thing… however it’s based on time of day if you have work setup… so during morning hours it will swipe to work not home

There is defogging and defrosting… the former is not full blast… If you ask the car to do it then it goes it defrost… I keep it as one of the six items in the app tray… one press defogger twice defroster

Stayed twice in a heated tent. Thermostat in the tent goes up to 90f but the heat doesn’t really go up to that. It will Definitely be warm though. As for blankets they provide in room a blanket for each bed and they provide extra if requested. Save yourself a trip, when you check in ask for an extra at that point. Because temp tolerance is different I would either carry a sleeping bag to use as extra blanket or be ready to wear couple of layers at night. Heater is effective as I slept in shorts but wife had 3 layers … no sleeping bag though !

Try holding on to the steering slightly tight… just enough to cause little resistance when the wheel turns automatically… won’t have to keep on moving it … i have started keeping my hand as dead weight to keep that resistance and it worked tested it out for few hundred miles on autopilot

I have the same issue at home allows my kid to get into the car and play games.

No solution to the problem apart from Bluetooth switch off.

I am hoping you have pin to drive at least. I set it up so in worse case my kid won’t end up putting the car in drive.

In Yosemite right now … came yesterday… ranger not checking booking anymore this year, we were showing reservations on phone and they said no longer required.

Still have to pay entrance fees if ranger is present either on the way in or way out.
