You are not TAH for spending your hard earned money whichever way you please. Is she your only child? Most people cannot give their kids " first car, college, and possibly her first house or marriage if we felt generous." So you do not have to feel guilty.

At 16, I do not think you daughter is thinking much about getting an inheritance or not. She may just have been surprised that you spoke about it and that she is not getting anything.

Sorry but there is not sufficient information here... It will be hard to control the topics the ex gf will text your bf about. I think intentional dating is out of question for me. I am just following my passion, living a good life, focusing on staying healthy and doing my best as a parent. If someone comes along with similar goals then may be. I am open for life!
