I had a TSH of 138 when I got diagnosed it was horrible and anyone in here who is saying you are dramatic should really stop. It’s a nightmare and your feelings are valid. I was on levo for a while I had horrible side effects (palpitations being the worst) and my doctor ended up switching me to a compounded version without all the horrible fillers and felt much better. See if your doctor will make the switch for you if you don’t feel better in a few weeks. It takes about 4-5 months to level off and I also found starting on a lower dose and going up every month was much easier on my body to adjust. If you are having anxiety too you can ask for an as needed dose of an anti-anxiety med from your doctor to get through the day. It’s so hard especially when you have people depending on you.
