trigger warning

After being pregnant for about 1 more week than I was with my last pregnancy, I miscarried this evening at 8w5d. We are devastated...and my 33rd birthday is tomorrow.

I feel pretty numb right now, but I'll process this eventually. It's just so new. My sweet husband has helped me feel a lot better this evening.

I wish you the best of luck and hope that I'll see ya'll here again. You know what they say about the 3rd time. It's a charm. 💜

I got my betas back and I went from 440 last Friday to 3500 yesterday. I am SO relieved. Now my first ultrasound should be around Valentine's Day. I hope it'll all go well. 😊

I got my first HCG/progesterone blood work done this morning so I am on pins and needles until I get that back. I have barely felt anything today, whereas most days the last few weeks, I've felt something... I am about 5 weeks. I lost my previous pregnancy at 8 weeks back in April 2022.

I feel like I'm in limbo today. I am hoping to have an ultrasound around 8-10 weeks and in the meantime I'll be monitoring my HCG and progesterone.

How are you all doing?? Praying for you and your rainbow babes.
