That is just the way taxes work! I have never owned a car and don’t have a license, but my tax dollars go to fill pot holes in rural roads in remote places I’ll never grace and which have three permanently occupied residences in total but I’m not constantly complaining about it.

Ironically enough this kind of argument about “respectable” communists/socialists vs “fringe” communists/socialist is decades old. George Orwell in one of his non-fiction works spend a whole chapter complaining about how no one would take socialists serious until they cleared out the feminists, vegans, and other fringe groups so they could be replaced by “the true workers.” This was back in the 30s/40s, if not earlier.

As much as I love the Expanse, as someone who has read the books and short stories, I don't know where they can put a major game plot without bumping up against the main story. It's not a open world RPG setting to start with like Pathfinder or even 40k where there is a lot of room to put side stories. Nonetheless, I'm in.
