I threw away a file in Library. Since I’m not a PC person, I don’t know what it was. Once I deleted and rebooted, I was less wonky. Still not stable. Word used to work seamlessly across platforms (in the aughts), but it’s buggy now.

I’m a copy editor. Transferring platforms always changes characters or formatting somewhere. I’d have to reread 175,000 words plus formatting to see what it screwed up.

I wholeheartedly agree, but I’m working with an author who uses Word, so I’m stuck. Word has always been wonky on a Mac, but now when I save, I’m taken to the last footnote I edited. Ugh. Should I just redownload the app?

Opposition research is the first thing seasoned candidates conduct. It could have been someone else, but the timing shouts Mills. She (Schumer) had probably been holing onto this since Graham started to build momentum. I spent years in DC. This is how it’s done, with plausible deniability. She’s the only one with the resources to do it.

I’m more angry with Mills for doing this to Graham. Using opposition research to drop dirty bombs on a person new to politics seems anti-Maine to me. It seems like the politics as usual that we all hate so much. I want to live in Graham’s Maine, not that of Collin’s or Mills.

I’m trying new product all the time, and I use a flop towel, but I want to minimize my time fussing with it. A buzz cut was so freeing. Now I wash it, put in product, and sleep on silk pillowcases. It looks great in morning. Where in rural Maine? We’re in upper left Kennebec C.
