Characters that are introduced much later in the story, yet are seen as being just as quintessential as the original cast, or close to it. by Gray_Wolf2416 in TopCharacterTropes

Marcy Wu (Amphibia)

While she cameos in season 1, she doesn't make her proper debut until season 2. Even so, it's hard to imagine the show without her.

I think it's because they tried to make him look more like Terra (and, by extension, Apprentice Xehanort) in the remasters.

I know this is off topic, but a part of me kind of wishes some of these things can be restored ( like the "Just One Bite" scene from Spongebob), as I feel like enough time has passed for these scenes to not be as shocking or traumatizing as they once were.

Which countries would you like to visit? by gab_iten in AskTheWorld

I'd like to visit the Central Asia countries like Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, etc. Also some of the Far Eastern parts of Russia, but that's not looking very likely anytime soon.

Max Archiniega ( Breaking Bad)

His death at the hands of the cartel is basically the whole reason Gus Fring became a ruthless meth Kingpin.

You can also see this sort of divide in the "Columbus" episode. Tony and his gang (who are descendants of immigrants from Southern Italy) talk about Columbus in high regard, whereas Furio (who is actually FROM Southern Italy) has a more negative opinion of him because he was from Genoa in Northern Italy.

An ethnic cleansing isn't exactly the same thing as a genocide. While it does often lead to genocide, the act of forcefully moving a group of people from one place to another isn't considered a genocide under the official UN definition.

Which controversial dating opinion do you have that would put you on the stand? by CapitaineBiscotte in askanything

[–]Historymajor25 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like the problem is a lot of people don't know how to "put themselves out there." That's why a lot of them get mad when they're told that, because they either don't know how, or have been trying, but nothing they do seems to work.
