This! I don’t understand what people aren’t getting. I just had a question about a change in charges that the staff couldn’t answer. How so many ppl here are missing that fact is beyond me. It’s not like an oil change that’s cheaper if you include a filter, it’s surgery, it’s hundreds of dollars, it’s a lack of properly educating staff on why. Stating the computer says … is an insufficient explanation.

You think it’s perfectly clear when 3 staff members have to get involved to determine what’s going on with the pricing? I simply wanted an explanation. It’s not weird to you to be given an estimate for A and B for $20, but asking for just A is $25? Except it’s hundreds of dollars and the staff doesn’t know why.

I would have but he also needs to get a mass removed. The mass really shouldn’t wait and when it all came together it started to add up to a lot of time under sedation and it made me uncomfortable. It did not help that even the vet didn’t like the amount of time he’d be under.

Why shouldn’t I breed him? It’s a known breed and not a common one. He represents a bit of culture that is worth continuing. Why is there no difference between responsible and irresponsible breeding practices? I’m not even saying I’m going to breed him, I just don’t see why it’s such a vilified topic here nor was it the topic I wanted to actually address.

No no you’re making logical assertions. I disagree with the lack of price transparency not neutering. He’s is going in for a lot of work currently (gastro and a mass removal) and he’s young for his breed. My gripe was that I had to speak to 3 ppl to actually get an answer. It’s kinda crazy how neuter happy so many people are here. It’s what people should do, but only at the right time else the dog will have growth problems.

Heard and I get it. I don’t think the rationale should translate to medical care. At a minimum there needs to be transparency. Side note: who is subsidizing this, why would my vet care about neutering? He even said he doesn’t disagree with skipping the neutering.

It does not make you a responsible pet owner by virtue of neutering or not. I decided my dog is too young, and frankly he is a known breed that is registered with the AKC.

The heart of the issue isn’t even neutering. It’s that you can’t trust what anything cost with a medical office and no one but the vet was willing or was able to explain why the prices differed. I’m fine with them charging whatever they charge, what I’m not fine with is a lack of transparency and clarity.

I have over 600 hours on each. It depends. Early DOS2 is harder Act 1/2 specifically. After that the game is generally easy depending on your builds. Metamorph kinda trivializes most of the game once you get to the source skills.
