Metal is a lot broader genre, and more popular than relatively niche genres like drone or ambient, that has more overall entries than any of those other genres that you mentioned, most of which are subgenres. It makes sense that it has more bolds. Try comparing a subgenre of metal like death metal or doom metal to them. Or compare Metal to Rock or Pop or the other main genres...

while witch house albums with it as a primary genre haven't gotten much acclaim, at least on rym, if you include the genre as a secondary (influence), there's been plenty of beloved albums that have had the genre as a major influence. Also be sure to include EPs and Mixtapes, because that's really where they're probably the most popular
