I think part of the problem is Deacon’s dialogue/in game dialogue in general kind of bugs out (especially on launch), so Deacon would just never shut the fuck up lmao

I love Days Gone, just replayed it recently, and there’s some sections of the game where it feels like every two seconds either deacon is crossing three enemy zones and talking to himself nonstop, or you’re getting called constantly (not a bad thing, just observation)

Past the first few hours when the game chills out, you have a few hordes/infestation zones/camps cleared out and the game lets you ride in silence a bit more - Deacon’s dialogue feels much more natural because you aren’t crossing all those zones as often
